| BIOGRAPHIE |
Crippled Youth est un groupe des années 80 de Hardcore-Punk de New-York, qui a influence le mouvement Straight Edge en compagnie de groupe comme Youth of Today, Side by Side, Gorilla Biscuits, Agnostic Front, The Abused, SSD, 7 Seconds... Crippled Youth est crée à Katonah, dans l'état de New-York, par Tim Brooks à la basse, Matt Warnke ( One-Sided War, Running Like Thieves) au chant, Drew Thomas ( Into Another) à la batterie. Après quelques répétitions le groupe commence à faire des concerts et recrute John "Zulu" Zuluago à la guitare. Sort en 1986, le 45 tours Join The Fight sur le label californien "New Beginning". Le groupe change de nom peu de temps après pour s'appeler Bold et sort l'album de 11 titres, Speak Out sur "Wishing Well Records". Voir la suite sur la biographie de Bold.
